(The DEADLINE to hand in your books was Monday, January 27th)
WHERE DO I BRING MY BOOKS?
Books can be dropped off Jan 23rd-27th, in students own classroom. Teacher’s will hold books in their classroom until Monday, January 28th. Teacher’s will have coupons to distribute to students.
HOW?
Just have your child bring the gently used books (all levels will be accepted) to the school. Your child will receive coupons for the donation. (If your child brings a chapter book they can exchange for a chapter book, if they brought a picture book it is exchanged for a picture book).
WHAT IF MY CHILD BRINGS IN 20 BOOKS, DOES THAT EQUAL 20 COUPONS?
In a effort to maintain fairness among all the classes and provide
opportunities to all the students, your child will receive one coupon for each book to a maximum of 5 coupons. If your child brings in more than 5 books we are very appreciative of the wonderful donation. The rest of the books will be sold for $0.25, in the afternoon of the 30th.
WHEN WILL THEY PURCHASE BOOKS
The teachers will receive a schedule for their class to come and purchase books on January 28-29 Class Scheduled Visit List will be provided to teachers.
BOOKS THAT DO NOT GET SWAPPED WILL BE SOLD TOMORROW FOR $0.25 EACH AND THEN THE REMAINDER AFTER THAT WILL BE DONATED TO CLASSROOMS AND FAMILIES IN NEED.
