As we look to the upcoming season of Lent and Easter, we see a calendar conflict with Pink Shirt day and Ash Wednesday. Since Ash Wednesday is an important day of fasting, abstinence from meat, solemnity, prayer and spiritual growth, celebratory activities are not endorsed.

Therefore, our schools celebrate Pink Shirt Day on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the day before the beginning of the Lenten season.
