Continuing our on-going efforts to help those in need, Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools has donated 25 iPads to Grande Prairie Pallative Care Centre’s continuing care patients who are no longer allowed to have family visit during this time.
“Several colleagues reached out over the weekend suggesting we could loan our equipment,” stated Karl Germann, Superintendent of Schools. “Several staff in our Tech department gathered up underused equipment, wiped the units clean and made sure they were ready for donation Monday morning.”
“My family went through this same experience and we found technology was a great way to check on someone and enrich their daily routine. As a Christian community we are compelled to help those in need, especially during the Easter season.”
