Growing in Faith
We Celebrate:
- Whole school beginning and year end masses
- Monthly celebrations lead by our students
- Grade 4 Bible blessings
- Remembrance Day Liturgy
- Shrove Tuesday
- Ash Wednesday
- Stations of the Cross
We participate in various community service projects throughout the year! Our students love to make blessing bags for those in need in our community, we do a mitten and sock tree over the Christmas season and then donate to the community, students write letters throughout the year to seniors and veterans.
Faith Programs Taught/Used: For Religion, our school uses the Growing in Faith, Growing in Christ program. This is an excellent resource that has been developed for children in Grades 1 through 6. One of the bonus features of this program is the parent links that assist parents in supporting their children's faith journeys.
Our Division is located within the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan. The Archdioceses provides guidance through the Alberta Bishops for the delivery of Catholic Education.
