Ms. Monique
My name is Monique House. This is my 11th year working at Mother Teresa. This year I am teaching Kindergarten. In the past I have taught k-6 French, 1/2 split, 3/4 split, junior high, and grade 2 and 4. I have worked in the Newfoundland and Labrador public district, a private Catholic school in Newfoundland and in the past 11 years I have worked for Grande Prairie Catholic.
I am originally from a very small town in Newfoundland with a population of approximately 500 people. I attended Memorial University where I obtained my two degrees. A B.A. in psychology with a minor in Science and my B.Ed with a focus in science. In 2014 I obtained my Montessori training through U of BC. I have recently returned to St. Mary’s University to further my Education in Leadership.
The most current things that I enjoy doing is camping, playing volleyball, golfing, skiing, softball, traveling the world and spending time with my two precious kids. They are my pride and joy.
