Miss Sonja

 

Hello, my name is Sonja Devantier. This will be my third year teaching at Mother Teresa School. I received my Bachelor of Communication degree at the University of Natal, South Africa. I have previously taught Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3. I have a passion for teaching, reading and seeing children succeed! After moving to Edmonton, Canada, I completed my certificate of Education at the University of Alberta.

 

I moved to Grande Prairie in October 2021 and have really enjoyed settling and teaching here. I thoroughly enjoy teaching at MT and seeing the joy on children's faces when they learn something new. I also love seeing them grow in their faith as we learn together.

 

When I am not teaching, i enjoy biking, swimming, or hiking with my family.
