Ms. Sarah Bombardir

Hello! My name is Sarah. I’m originally from Vancouver Island but now call Grande Prairie home. Before moving to Grande Prairie, I taught junior high nutrition, physical education, and grade five. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy cooking/baking, yoga, and reading. My love for reading inspired me to pursue a graduate certificate from Queen’s University in Teacher Librarianship. I was blessed to complete my BEd degree at Vancouver Island University with a minor in history. It was through this program that I found my passion for teaching upper elementary and junior high students. I am grateful to be teaching again at Mother Teresa part time while I work on my master’s degree in school counselling.

I believe in empowering students to make positive changes in their communities. My favourite part of teaching is helping students find new passions, build confidence, and create lasting memories while learning new things each day. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Here’s to a wonderful 2025-2026 school year!
