About

Mother Teresa Catholic School is located in Grande Prairie, a community of over 65,000 people. Our school is hidden at the edge of the southern city limits.  The school officially opened on January 18, 2010.

 

At this time we are a Montessori (Program of Choice) school from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8. With nearly 700 students and 50 staff members, we strive to build relationships with our students so that they can come to our school knowing that they are safe, cared for and loved every day!

 

Our staff works to offer a Catholic education to our students and our faith is permeated in to daily activities.  We begin every school day with a whole school morning prayer and gather on Wednesdays for a time of worship and reflection. Mother Teresa Catholic School is designed to facilitate student learning and is equipped with mobile computer labs, a band program, two full-sized gyms, an outdoor classroom and two dedicated pray areas.
