My Creed Webquest

INTRODUCTION:

What is the Apostles’ Creed? Let Frieda the frog guide you through websites, to find out more. Then you will write your own Creed about your faith, and present it to the class. Have fun!

PROCESS:

Using an online Dictionary, discover what the word Creed means.

I Believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead.

Print this picture. Color and write your own thoughts about Jesus’ death.

On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

Look at some of the Easter symbols. What do they tell about Jesus’ death and resurrection? Write your answer on binder paper.
